Bulgaria Follow Up

Participants from Bulgaria made 2 follow up activities as described below:

"Cultural Exchange and Environmental Practices Exhibition"

Participants from the FAIR TRADE and RESPONSIBLE CONSUMERS (FTRC) Youth Exchange project. An exhibition showcasing intercultural experiences and environmental practices.

To share knowledge and experiences gained from the project with the local community, specifically high school students in Plovdiv, and to promote cultural understanding and environmental awareness. Through interactive exhibits, presentations, and discussions.

Participants will set up interactive booths representing different aspects of the project, focusing on activities they enjoyed the most and environmental practices they learned about. Each booth will feature displays, photographs, videos, and artifacts related to the chosen activity and its outcomes.

Participants will engage with high school students, explaining their chosen activity and its significance, as well as sharing their personal experiences and insights gained during the project.

Reflection and Closing: Participants will gather for a reflection session.

Facilitators will guide participants in reflecting on their overall experiences, discussing challenges faced, lessons learned, and ways to apply their knowledge and skills in their daily lives. High school students will have the opportunity to ask questions, share their own perspectives, and engage in dialogue with the participants. The event will conclude with a closing ceremony, expressing appreciation to participants and high school students for their participation and contributions.

1st Activity: [High School in Plovdiv, Bulgaria]

On 07. 12 the event S. T. O. P - for Fair Trade and Responsible Consumers took place. After a short energizer, a presentation was given on the essence of the global movement and the role of Bulgarian citizens as citizens of Europe and the world. We had a discussion about the game Banana Split and ended with a short quiz. On the threshold of the event's finale, all participants received certificates of participation. The event was attended by 28 students and 3 teachers. Thank you for your inspiration!

Overall, the follow-up activity aims to extend the impact of the Youth Exchange project by sharing its outcomes with high school students in Plovdiv. Through interactive exhibits, presentations, and discussions, participants will showcase their intercultural experiences and environmental practices, fostering greater understanding and awareness among the local youth community.

2nd Activity: Presentation in Youth Center, Stara Zagora

The youth project was very inspirational. I wasn't informed about the topic before, but right now I know its essentials and how I, as a person, can take actions. I was amazed by the group and the people there - I met some really nice girls and boys who got my heart right on the spot. The organization was perfect. I'm glad each activity took its place just on time and in place, it's nice to stick to the schedule. I found the facilitators very charming. They were presenting with smiles and all the information was served easy and understandable. I am glad I participated in such a great project as my first Erasmus + project.

I was proud to participate in the Erasmus+ project "Fair Trade & Responsible Customers" in Limassol, Cyprus, and it was an experience I'll always remember! It was incredible to meet people from all over the world with whom I will always keep in touch with. We shared stories, learned about each other's cultures, and realized that despite our differences, we all have lots of things in common. One of the coolest things I learned was how to work effectively in a diverse team. Understanding what you are truly paying for in our everyday lives and how it contributes to the producers and their lives is really important. I am grateful for such an unforgettable experience and I am looking forward to many other Erasmus + projects ahead since once Erasmus, always a traveler at heart.

About the last fascinating project in Cyprus 🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾 about the Fair trade and responsible consumers - I am so glad that I met so many wonderful people. I had amazing experience working in teams and communicating with everyone. I feel fantastic to have had the opportunity to participate. 🥳✨

The activities were fun, got us involved in the topic and made good connections between the different countries.❤️ We learned a lot about the Fair trade movement, its structure. We know how to find it, how to spread awareness, why it is so important for our society and environment. Working in teams thaught us to be inclusive but also to prepare a start-up plan and to understand better our competences.

Thank you so much @acpelia_cyprus ❤️ and @erasmus_plus_projects

I am looking forward to going on my next Erasmus + experience 🥰
